研究方向:研究方向:积极心理学,临床心理学和理想心理学,具体研究包括以下领域。

(1) 聚焦中国哲学和传统文化(佛教、儒家)中的理念与技术,专精于正念冥想(Mindfulness Meditation)、慈悲冥想(Four Immeasurables Meditations)、随喜(Appreciative Joy)、自我怜悯(Self-Compassion)等,探讨它们在幸福感、人际关系、情绪调节、灵性发展等方面的效果与机制。

(2) 在方法论层面发展和研究理想心理学(Idealistic Psychology,理念心理学),即设计、实现和评估理想心理模式的研究方法与心理实践,如在第二代正念干预中对“天人合一”的研究和应用等。

目前已发表中英文论文著作几十篇,其中多篇论文发表于Mindfulness, Journal of Positive Psychology, Clinical Psychology Review等领域顶级刊物。正念与冥想领域国际权威期刊Mindfulness的首位中国编委,并在其它期刊担任编委、受邀审稿等。

实践方向:以正念冥想、慈悲冥想的应用为主,亦开展其它积极心理学应用。

作为慈悲冥想领域的先行者,对喜心禅进行了若干开创性研究和实践,发展有全球首个喜心禅干预“喜悦之心”(Heart of Joy)。融合正念与慈悲冥想、积极心理学和中国哲学,发展了中国首个第二代正念干预“正念积极心理”(Mindfulness-Based Positive Psychology)。向国内引进推广接纳与承诺疗法(Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)、第二代正念干预(Second-Generation Mindfulness-Based Interventions)等。另有正念冥想、慈悲冥想等录音课程(详见后文)。

负责北师大心理学部正念与冥想系统培训课程中冥想概述和实修部分的教学;参与多家公司、教育单位、培训机构、精神病院和监狱的课程与研究;受邀为多家公司、单位提供商业正念和积极心理学课程;开发正念冥想、慈悲冥想等录音课程和软件;支援灾疫期间的心理服务;从事其它科普活动等。
